LA Lakers guard Nick Young had a run-in with a murderous dolphin which was out to steal his girlfriend, Iggy Azalea, from him.

Or at least, that's his version of events.

In an interview with reporters prior to the Lakers loss with the Nuggets, Nick Young recounted the time he almost lost his girlfriend Iggy Azalea to a dolphin while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

"He was playing with everybody else, doing what dolphins do -- the 'ack ack' and all that," he said. "It was my time to ride the dolphin. For some reason, he took me all the way to the bottom. He was trying to drown me."

With his lightning reflexes, LA Lakers guard Nick Young "saw it happening."

"I jumped out of the water and took off the little life vest and threw off my little water shoes and stayed outside," he said.

But why was he paranoid about the dolphin?

For one, he said the dolphin was very tame and took other swimmers around on its back.

"He went straight down. He was trying to kill me," Nick Young said. "I think he was trying to get on Iggy. He was a little friendly, kissing her and stuff. He was trying to take my woman."

In an interview with Vanity Fair, LA Lakers guard Nick Young shared just how he managed to seduce girlfriend Iggy Azalea.

"In the morning you've got to make a nice breakfast omelet. That's my signature," he said. Nick Young's claim, however, was quickly denied by girlfriend Iggy Azalea who said that it's a like because the LA Lakers player "makes a terrible everything."

As to their wedding plans, Nick Young admitted to DuJour magazine that he's often dreamed about his own family when he was young.

"Me and Iggy just bought a house. We've been getting really close lately. I've never been with somebody like this. So, I'm taking it as a challenge," he said.
