Celebrities and pop stars congratulated Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney after they got engaged on Valentine's Day.
Lady Gaga announced the news of her engagement to Taylor Kinner through Instagram: "He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!" She also shared a photo of her heart-shaped ring.
The post received more than 500,000 "likes."
Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney met while she's making the "You & I" music video in 2011 in Nebraska.
Britney Spears, was among the firsts to congratulate "Mother Monster" and the "Chicago Fire" actor on their engagement. In a twitter message, the princess of pop wrote: "SO SO SO happy for you! That ring ������ �� Congrats Gaga!!!
Ellen DeGeneres also congratulated Lady Gaga using her trademark humor as she wrote: "@LadyGaga is getting married! And I'm gonna be a bridesmaid!" The comedian then posted a Photoshopped image of her wearing what seemed to be a dress and hat made of multiple stuffed Kermit the Frog toys.
The post was a dig at Lady Gaga's penchant for wearing ridiculous clothes to red carpet events in the effort to shock people.
Patti Stanger of the Bravo series "The Millionaire Matchmaker" also sent her congratulations: "Congrats @ladygaga I knew it! So happy on your engagement to @TaylorKinney111 perfect match!"

Stand-up comic Caroline Rhea best known for her role in "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" tweeted: "Congratulations to @ladygaga. Are you going to be Lady Kinney now? Lucky man, please clone him."

After Taylor Kinney and Lady Gaga got engaged, they had their first dinner together at Joanne Trattoria in Upper West Side, which is said to be Mother Monster's family restaurant, according to Us Weekly.
