The Mobile World Congress (MWC) is fast approaching and the Microsoft is reported to launch another flagship named as Lumia 640, a mid-range smartphone with a model number of RM 1109.
According to Windows Central, the site of the Janela Tech has cited documents from Brazil's Anatel, the country's National Telecommunication Agency, which shows the handset Microsoft Lumia 640 and the specs it offered.
The Phone Arena suggests that Lumia 640 is the successor of Nokia Lumia 635 and Lumia 630. The said device is expected to offer new features and quality specs for the users to enjoy with.
"The Lumia 640 will offer HSDPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, dual SIM capabilities, support for digital TV (which seems to be quite popular in Brazil), and a 2500 mAh battery," the Phone Arena wrote.
Furthermore, the site added that Microsoft Lumia 640 is reported to have a 5.7-inch screen size with a 720p display, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 32 GB internal storage, 14 MP PureView rear-facing camera and 5 MP front-facing camera.
The device is reported to feature accessories such as AC-20B charger, WH108 handset and a battery Lithium-T5C BV. Its operating system, on the other hand, is possibly a Windows 8.1 or the latest one - Windows 10.
However, as of its availability, it is currently unknown if the Microsoft Lumia 640 will only be available in Brazil. More information of the device is still embargo at Anatel until after the Mobile World Congress event happened.
Moreover, there are also rumors that the company is planning to announce the Lumia 640, 645, 1330 and another version of Lumia 830 at MWC event, which is set next month.
Meanwhile, as of this writing, Microsoft has not yet released any information regarding the Microsoft Lumia 640 specs, as well as its release date, and only requested confidentiality for the said device until March 13, as GSM Arena reported.
