The first episode of KBS2 weekend drama "Bluebird House" (script Choi Hyun Kyung, director Ji Byung Hyun, production Hidden Pictures Media) broadcast on Feb. 21st, Kim Ji Wan (played by Lee Joon Hyuk) failed on his 22nd interview.
Kim Ji Wan was late to the interview because of a prank phone call with Jang Hyun Do (played by Lee Sang Hyup). With this tardiness, he was barely able to get a chance to interview. Though it stated on the employment posting that educational background was irrelevant to qualifications to apply, the wall of reality was a bit too high.
Kim Ji Wan was asked why he applied to this company. He said, "This is the 22nd interview. I can't tell you that my dream is to work in a construction company. Even if this company is in the food industry or the logistics industry, I would've still applied. It's not important what work I do. My dream is to support my own family in my own ways. That's why I applied to this company."
Kim Ji Wan made interviewers laugh. Nonetheless, he had a different last name as his sibling and he didn't have a great educational background. After checking what school he had gradatued from, the interviewer said, "I heard enough. So please leave." With that, he foreshadowed that Kim Ji Wan would fail.
