Good news Marvel fans as new details from Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." regarding the identity of Grant Ward and cameo appearances of two members of the Avengers in the show was released.
According to Cinemablend Avenger members Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) are rumored to make a cameo appearance in the show. Jeremy Renner's character has been heavily teased to appear in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." for sometime, with other notable characters such as Black Widow and Sharon Carter.
Further evidence were revealed in Renner's Whosay account wherein he suits up again in his Hawkeye attire, although, it is not clear whether he was just re-shooting some scenes in "Avengers 2" or he is doing a "secret project" that Joss Whedon wants him to be quiet about.
Cinema Blend adds that the star of the series, Clark Gregg, teased fans of photo he posted on Facebook featuring his character Phil Coulson and Hawkeye in a showdown.
As for Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr. opened up to the idea of Tony Stark appearing in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." during a Q&A session on Reddit.
Meanwhile, another rumor has been making rounds within the show regarding Brett Dalton's character, former SHIELD agent Grant Ward.
ComicBook.com. reportedly claimed that Ward's identity is another Marvel character that the producers of the show decided to hide from the viewers.
The website adds that Ward could be the super villain/mercenary Taskmaster, who's abilities in the comics enables him to emulate and copy the skills and fighting styles of everyone he sees or watch.
So far, Marvel Studios has been quiet about it and did not made any statements regarding these rumors.
Speaking Marvel Studios, Screenrant reports that they might launch the new trailer of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in the midseason premier of the show.
Marvel fans will just have to wait a little longer for the new trailer as "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 2 returns on March 3 9/8c on ABC.
