Rockstar is allegedly going to release "GTA 5" PC mod tools as an apology to PC gamers when they've recently announced that the "GTA 5" PC release date has been delayed once again.
Rockstar has recently announced that the "GTA 5" PC release date has been delayed to April 14 as well as revealing that the "GTA 5 Online Heists DLC" release date is going to be on March 10.
"We are excited to announce that the launch of Heists for GTA Online is scheduled for March 10th. We know it's been a wait, and appreciate your patience," wrote Rockstar.
Rockstar continued, "GTAV for PC will be arriving on April 14th at retail and as a digital download. Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC."
It should be noted that Rockstar has offered an in-game cash bonus as an apology for the delay.
"As a gesture of thanks for your understanding, we will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online," wrote Rockstar.
However, their apology gift doesn't end there as it has been reported that Rockstar would release "GTA 5" PC mod tools after the launch of the game.
Cyberland reported that Rockstar is allegedly going to release "GTA 5" PC mod tools sometime after the release of the game. Rockstar is allegedly going to fully support PC mods for the singleplayer portion of the game as well as possibly allowing mods to work in "GTA Online" as well.
"Mod tools for GTA V would be put out by Rockstar after the PC release. My sources say that Rockstar would fully support mods for SP but they could allow mod to work on MP as long it's a private game," wrote Cyberland.
