"Devil May Cry 5" has been allegedly confirmed by Capcom and that they are back as the developers of the game after Ninja Theory dropped the franchise to work on "Hellblade".

KpopStarz reported that Capcom has allegedly confirmed that they are working on "Devil May Cry 5" and that Ninja Theory will not be able to work on the new "DMC" game because they are working on "Hellblade".

"Capcom reportedly confirmed that Devil May Cry 5 would be ready for 2015 but Ninja Theory reportedly said they won't be working on a sequel to the Devil May Cry reboot due to continued work on their new IP, Hellblade," wrote KpopStarz.

The report also notes that the plot for "Devil May Cry 5" is set after "DMC4" and players would take control of an older Nero searching for Dante.

"the plot for Devil May Cry 5 might be set after the events of Devil May Cry 4 where an older Nero is looking for Dante after his disappearance in Devil May Cry 2," wrote KpopStarz.

Meanwhile, Capcom is going to rerelease "Devil May Cry" for the next-gen consoles with the "Devil May Cry Definitive Edition".
