FX Network and Ryan Murphy, creator of "American Horror Story" and "Glee," shouldered the funeral expenses of Ben Woolf who died after a freak road accident.

"Sources close to Ben tell TMZ both Murphy and FX have offered to cover portions of the final expenses. Ben's family will be holding a themed memorial in Santa Barbara on March 21st," said TMZ.

"We're told the entire 'AHS' cast and crew have been invited -- and guests are being asked to wear red or blue ... Ben's favorite colors," the article added.

Ben Woolf passed away last week from the head injuries he sustained after he was hit by a passing vehicle.

In a report by Washington Post, Ben Woolf, who played Meep in "American Horror Story," was hit on the head with a car's side mirror. The accident wasn't immediately fatal but he died Monday at the hospital after a stroke.

Ben Woolf's family released a statement that says, "We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all over the world for our beloved Ben. He touched so many hearts in his 34 years. His memory will live on within each of us and within his work."

Meanwhile, even in death Ben Woolf continues to be generous as two of his kidneys and livers saved three Californian lives through organ donation, said Mirror.

"Ben was the kindest, most thoughtful, gentle, sweetly innocent person I ever knew," Ben Woolf's father, Nicholas, said. "He always wanted to be an actor, and when he was 30 he ran off to LA and accomplished more than our wildest imaginations. Without meaning to, Ben taught people so much - he inspired and generated love with everyone."

Nicholas also asked fans of Ben Woolf and the "American Horror Story" to donate to The Ben Woolf Fund, the proceeds of which will be used to buy "BENches" for the memorial park, as well as the Story Teller Children's Center and Little People of America.
