The "Winds of Winter" release date has been allegedly set to October 2015 following reports of George R.R. Martin confirming that there would be another book to be released after "Winds of Winter".
Comic Central City has reported that George R.R. Martin allegedly told reporters during an HBO "Game of Thrones" press event that he expects the "Winds of Winter" release date to be on October 2015.
"George R.R. Martin told some interviewers at a Game of Thrones press event that he is finally putting the finishing touches on the Winds of Winter. He also said that it would be released sometime on October," wrote Comic Central City.
Meanwhile, KpopStarz reports that George R.R Martin admitted he is going to release one more book after Winds of Winter.
"This is the fifth season, the sixth season HBO picked up last year. Whatever happens with the show I'm going to finish the books, it will be seven books and each of these books will be 1500 pages long and they each have enough material in them. I have two more books, the one I'm writing right now, The Winds Of Winter, and after that the last book, The Dream of Spring, so those will be the two final books," said George R.R Martin.
The report by KpopStarz also states that George R.R Martin confirmed that the "Game of Thrones" would deviate from his "A Song of Ice and Fire" books as people who died or lived in the book may not suffer the same fate in the TV series.
"People are going to die who don't die in the books, so even the book readers will be unhappy," Martin said. "So everybody better be on their toes. David and D.B. are even bloodier than I am," said George R.R. Martin
