Britney Spears suffered an embarrassing situation during her Planet Hollywood "Piece of Me" Las Vegas residency show on Friday night. In a now viral video, the singer's extensions fell to the ground midway through her performance of "Do Something." Check out the video at the end of the post.
Based on the video taken by a fan, Britney Spears' weave could be seen dangling from the back of her head. The 33-year-old has been professional about it and did not let the mishap ruin her performance. The piece of hair eventually fell to the ground, but Spears did not even bat an eyelash.

Britney Spears is no stranger when it comes to onstage malfunction. As previously cited by NY Daily News, she suffered from a slight mishap when her dress nearly fell off her body. While performing "Circus," her zipper opened up, totally exposing her back. Good thing, her dancers rushed to zip up her costume or her entire body could have been exposed.
Britney Spears began her residency in December 2013. She reportedly signed to perform 50 shows each for 2014 and 2015 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. It was said that the pop star extended her Vegas residency through 2017.
This is not surprising especially since Britney Spears reportedly rakes in more than $29 million for her shows.
According to TMZ, Spears signed a contract for $310,000 per performance. Factor in that there are 96 concerts in two years, her total came in at a whopping $29.76 million.
The singer, however, did not disappoint with her show-stopping performance that Planet Hollywood was "blown away" with the outstanding ticket sales that broke Vegas records. All in all, counting merchandising and other perks, the pop princess would earn roughly $475,000 per show.
How much did Britney Spears earn with her new rate? TMZ claims that the singer deposits nearly $1 million every week in her bank account. It looks like fans are going to see more of Britney in Las Vegas soon.
