The latest episode of "The Voice" Season 8 continued with its Blind Auditions. This time, the viewers got a deeper insight on what the coaches are looking for. Keep on reading to know more about what happened through this week's recap.
Judge Pharell Williams is looking for something different that he wouldn't normally go for, Adam's looking for someone relatable, Christian is looking for an equal mix of genres, while Blake is looking for the same thing - country music voice.
First up is Jacob Rummell who sang Bruno Mars' "Count On Me" and his voice was incredible. His whole appearance doesn't match his voice, which is why the judges were shocked when they faced him. Adam and Blake were intrigued and turned their chairs around and they were quite shocked because he didn't look like someone they expected him to be. In the end, Rummel went with Blake Shelton, to the costernation of both Pharell Williams and Christina Aguilera.
Next was India Carner who performed Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind." She sounded like a professional and her presence on stage was just star quality. It's as if she already know what she's doing and so used to it. All judges turned their chairs for her and wooed her but in the end she went with Team Christina. Her decision was not really surprising because her voice definitely blends well with the pop diva.
The third contestant was a shocker, it was Adam Levine who sang Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" and the three coaches turned their chairs around and in the end he went with Christina's team. That little twist really gave viewers something to talk about.
