It looks like Capcom has announced new updates for the next "Street Fighter" game - "Street Fighter 5" - on its release date, and possible character roster list.

Video game news website VG24/7 reported that Capcom has posted the release date of "Street Fighter 5" as the game is set on Spring 2015 due to a post from Capcom-unity page regarding their gaming merchandise this coming PAX 2015 event.

Capcom-Unity wrote “Everyone is fired up for Street Fighter 5 coming to the PS4 and PC next Spring. Until then, you can sport the official SF5 key art T-shirt, which features Ryu in a heroic pose, for $25.”

T3 also reported that both Amazon.com and Best Buy have place the game on March 16, 2015, and "Street Fighter 5" is said to cost around $59.96 for the PlayStation 4 and for the PC.

Sounds good to be true for gamers and die hard fans;however, Polygon reports that a representative from Capcom claimed that the release date was just "tentative" as the company has not yet issued an official announcement regarding the game's launch next year.

"What was listed was just a tentative release time and no official announcements have been made," Capcom told Polygon.

Capcom has announced that a beta test for "Street Fighter 5" will soon be taking place and its predicted to be the largest and the most ambitious in the game's history, according to the PlayStation Blog.

Reports further add that pre-order customers will receive access to the online beta program immediately, although, Capcom has not yet announced further details regarding beta test launch date announcement.

There are also rumors that a tentative list of characters have been leaked online as Event Hubs created an online poll on which character should be included in"SF5's" roster which includes Juri, Sean, Eagle, Sodom, Oro, Alex, Q, R.Mika, Karen Kanazaki and Urien.

Steven 'Dreamking23' Chavez from Event Hubs further claimed that Fei Long will also join the game due to screenshot he posted during the Charlie Nash trailer.
