'Sims 4' PC And Mac New Patch Update Now Available In Origin; Fixes Failed To Load Object Error, Unrecognized Video Card And More!

The SimGuruGnome of the "Sims" has released new game patch for PC and Mac version of "Sims 4" and it is now available on Origin.

According to The Sims 4 News, the "Sims 4" Mac and PC new patch have been released on March 10, Tuesday and it fixes more on the crashes and performance issues that the players encounter in the game.

The site wrote the full list of patch notes, one of them that has been fixed is the "failed to load object" error that was returning to a neighborhood map when trying to load into a lot.

The developer also fixed an issue that could occur on load because of "lot caching," by removing the cache. Another one that has been fixed is browsing the gallery that can lead to a crash.

Also, for the "Sims 4" PC and Mac version patch, the developer fixed the crash category oxd12c29, ox4518fe, oxb72d33 and ox34bc94. To be specific, they fixed the Pathplanner:containsFast, Graphics: Texture, SetNotificationFunction and FamilyManager crash.

The site added that players who are using the Nvidia GTX 960, 970 and 980 video cards will not experience the "Unrecognizable Video Card" error when they launch the game.

There is also a "Sims 4" patch update for Mac and that includes fixing an issue that prevents the game from launching and display as an "Unable to start, initialization" error. The fix will let the players on Mac to have about 1000 pieces of custom contest, which is opposed to 20.

Also, player can now change the refresh rate in the Game Options, Graphics tab, and SimGuruGnome added that they also fixed the texture loading issue that was causing some systems to have the Sims appear without texture.

Meanwhile, aside from the "Sims 4" Mac and PC patch, there is a new Gnome that joined the game. The developer posted a photo on Facebook with a captioned: "Just barely SFW. This guy's in today's The Sims 4 patch. Where will you hide them?"
