The two-hour season finale of "Glee" will air on FOX on March 20, and spoilers reveal that the show will pay tribute to the late Cory Monteith.

As previously reported by Deadline, some of the "Glee" cast members attended the PaleyFest 2015 to talk about their most memorable memories on and off the set. The cast also talked about how difficult it was to say goodbye to each other after being together for six years.

"The memories are endless. My favorite thing about Cory is that we always had accidental fun together. He was a very, very special guy," Chris Colfer said about co-star Cory Monteith.

The actor passed away in July 2013 at the age of 31.

According to spoilers from MTV, the "Glee" finale called "2009" will feature the backstory of students of William McKinley High School before they joined Glee club.

Show creator Ryan Murphy said that "Glee" would end with a "major Finn story" that fans should not dare miss. Murphy revealed that the writers always thought that the finale would be about Rachel and Finn's love story. However, this would not pan out because of obvious reasons.

"I really think that Ryan [Murphy], Brad [Falchuk] and Ian [Brennan] and the rest of our writers had a difficult task in wrapping up everyone's story lines and also making sure everyone was happy and making sure to honor Cory and do all of that in one episode. And they really did a great job to make sure that the fans were happy and that they were respectful of everyone in the story line," he told Cinemablend.

Lea Michele, admitted that she "fell to her knees and cried" after shooting "Glee's" finale episode. Spoilers revealed that singing "This Time" written by co-star Darren Criss made her remember all the times she had shared with Monteith, on and off cam.

"I cried the whole week. I was a mess. That was the day I fell to my knees and cried. I literally had to call my mother to come. It was the most special day. I got to say everything to everyone here and everyone who will watch it that I wanted to say, but you can't think of the words, and he wrote them."
