"Revenge" has its ways to celebrate historical occasions and in season 4, episode 16 titled "Retaliation," the series became a July celebration full of drama, schemes and one death. Keep on reading for the recap of the latest episode in the series.
The recap of "Revenge" season 4, episode 16, "Retaliation" contains spoilers.
Victoria still couldn't get her hands on the money but she threatened Natalie that she doesn't know her at all. Natalie was throwing a Fourth of July party and told Victoria about it. Meanwhile, Emily went to her father to tell her that she disapproves of the new woman in her life because she's still a "Grayson." Still, David was oblivious and convinced Emily to leave this up to him.
Victoria also warned David but he thought she was only jealous until he saw a watch in her purse but he didn't confront her about this. During the party, Natalie started showing her true self. When the media asked her about David, she started saying some bad stuff about him. Victoria saw all of these and she watched her very closely throughout the night.
Natalie took David in a room and ripped her clothes off and started making a commotion that David was hurting her. However, Victoria watched her like a hawk and had everything taped and now Victoria demanded that Natalie signed the money over to her or face going to jail. Never mess with Victoria Grayson.
Margaux wanted Emily's birth certificate in exchange for Ben's ex-wife's location. Ben handed it to her but it was a fake. Margaux stupidly fell into his trap. Nolan was able to get April's location and Ben was about to go to her when Emily stopped him to tell him that she's coming because she's more experienced in that area.
On the way, Ben explained everything to Emily about how a year after he and April have split, she got together with a man named Wes parker who assaulted her and she ran away from him. April went to him for advice and he called in a raid and that was something that she didn't want to happen, which is why she ran away again because she knows that Wes knows that she talked.
When they got to the diner, April and Wes were there and Emily was the one who handled the situation to give Ben the chance to arrest him and he was able to do so.
The "Revenge" season 4 recap continued with Nolan doubting his marriage with Louise because there are a lot of baggage that comes with it. Lyman came to Louise and said all the right things and was invited to stay in the guest room. Nolan wasn't up for this but then again, it's as if Lyman knows exactly what to say and had Louise again to believe in him.
It turns out that Lyman was paid by Margaux to get information on Nolan. Unfortunately for him, Louise caught him snooping around that they sort of had a tug of war over the flash drive that he fell and died. When Nolan got home Louise told him that she did something bad but he didn't let her speak and just told her that it's fine to let Lyman stay and Louise said that he's staying in the guest room. So, what did she do with the body?
Lastly for this episode, Jack was arrested for drunk driving when he clearly didn't consume any alcohol but the breathalyzer said otherwise. During the arrest, Ben and Emily were watching and Emily knows that Margaux was behind that and she's about to take her down.
