A mother is facing the reality of physical abuse and violence that goes on at school. Kim Hee Sun is upset. On the first episode of "Angry Mom" the issues featured were school violence in the forefront but nonetheless, there were also themes of motherly love. The funny aspect is that a mother disguises herself as a high school student to protect her daughter who is getting abused in school. This is a bit more approachable to the otherwise heavy topic.
On the MBC Wednesday/Thursday mini-series "Angry Mom" broadcast on Mar. 18, Jo Gang Ja (played by Kim Hee Sun), a young thirty four year old mother, is shocked after learning that her daughter Oh Ah Ran (played by Kim Yoo Jung) is getting abused by the gangs at school. With that starts a tumultuous daily routine.
Gang Ja had given birth at the age of nineteen and is a generic passionate mother that gives up her life. Ah Ran thinks that Gang Ja is lying and starts to rebel. Nonetheless, on this day, Gang Ja realizes that Ah Ran is a victim of abuse.
In "Angry Mom" Kim Hee Sun plays this young mother who had used to be a partier who faces the issues of education in present day society head on.
