The live gate for the joint Showtime and HBO pay-per-view fight of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is expected to generate $74 million from the ticket sale, cite ESPN.

The Top Rank chairman and Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum said on Monday that revenue from ticket sales could hit $74 million, which is almost four times the current record.

"It's crazy, but it is what it is, it's amazing," Arum said.

The majority of the tickets will not be available for public sale since the promoters, fighter camps, HBO, Showtime and MGM Grand have controlled a share of tickets, which they will sell to their customers.

Arum assured that there will be tickets that will go on sale next week to the public.

Furthermore, Arum said that the foreign rights is expected to generate another $35 million. In Mexico, both the Azteca and Televisa, who are major broadcast networks in the said country have decided to have a deal to buy the rights for Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao for $2.3 million, which will televise simultaneously.

He added that a television rights in Manny Pacquiao's country the Philippines have been sold for $10 million to Solar.

"We wouldn't have gotten a fraction of these numbers if we made the fight five years ago," said Arum. "It turned out that we're doing the fight at the right time, I guess, not that we're geniuses for waiting this long."

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reported that Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather official poster has been released.

The poster shows Pacquiao and Mayweather drenched in sweat and staring menacingly. The poster also shows their names in orange font and other details of the fight, which includes the date of the fight and logos for the fight's venue, the HBO, MGM and Showtime.
