New updates for "Batman Arkham Knight" have been revealed regarding the change of its release date and two Batman Arkham games heading for the fourth generation gaming consoles.
According to Gamerant, Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that the release date of "Batman: Arkham Knight" has been delayed yet again. The game was intended to launch on June 2, 2015, but now gamers will have to wait a little more as "Batman: Arkham Knight" is now set on June 23.
The game's director Sefton Hill made statement earlier, and apologized to the gaming fans about the sudden change.
“We’re a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it’s going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy,” Hill said.
Gamerant reports that the reason why "Batman: Arkham Knight was delayed was due to Rocksteady wanting to deliver the "awesome level of quality" that Batman fans and gamers expect from it. Rocksteady Studios stated before that this would be their final Batman game, and they want to make a very good last impression for the fans who supported that game series.
VG 24/7 also reported that Rocksteady and Warner Bros. has released a new gameplay video for "Batman: Arkham Knight".
The new gameplay features such "Fear Take Down", which lets players take down multiple targets. Another feature shown in the video is that Batman can now use the weapons on his adversaries such as bats, pipes etc. Lastly, Batman calls upon his Batmobile to chase and fight enemies in vehicles.
Aside from the new trailer, IGN Italy reports that Rocksteady Studios are planning to have two Arkham games remastered for the fourth generation consoles.
These games are "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City," and IGN claimed that they will launch on Christmas 2015 for the PS4 and Xbox One. Although Rocksteady did not comment whether the release date is true or not.
"Batman: Arkham Knight" will launch on June 23 for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC where gamers can pre-order The Batmobile Edition ($199.99), or the Limited Edition ($99.99).
