The First Lady, Michelle Obama attended the fifth annual Black Girls Rock 2015 Awards receiving the night's loudest ovation.

While spreading out her own word of education for girls at Black Girls Rock, First Lady Michelle Obama celebrated the tenacity and power of black women.

Black Girls Rock, an annual award show that honors and empowers women of color across the globe in different fields such as entertainment, music, medicine, visionary aspect as well as entrepreneurship was founded by former DJ and model Beverly Bond.

According to E! News, Michelle Obama received a standing ovation at Black Girls Rock! event on Saturday, March 28 where the First Lady gave an inspirational speech.

Michelle Obama looked elegant sporting a white, off-the-shoulder, knee-length dress as she declared into the mic that all the young women at the event as well as those across the country, "Black girls rock!"

The First Lady said no matter where they come from or who they are, they are beautiful, powerful, brilliant and funny.

Obama further added that not only her but her husband, President Barack Obama is also very proud of them and they have much hope and dream for them.

Chicago Suntimes noted that Obama was not among the honorees at the event. That distinction went to Dr. Helene D. Gayle, who is the president and CEO of CARE USA, educator Nadia Lopez, Ava DuVernay (Director of "Selma"), actress Jada Pinkett Smith, Cicely Tyson and singer Erykah Badu. Nevertheless, Obama was the most celebrated participant.

While addressing the women at the event , the first African-American First Lady of U.S. said she know there are voices that tell them they are good enough. She added that the voices tell them that they have to look and act a certain way and also if they speak up, they are too loud. Speaking about overcoming fears in her own life, she said, "If you step up to lead, you're being bossy."

Obama stressed the importance of education as she praised three young ladies who were brought on stage for outshining in their studies and also helping their communities.

Fellow presenter Will Smith showcased sweet PDA with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, who won the Star Power Award. Smith paid tribute to his wife, Jada and presented her with her award. He even spoke about rumors regarding their marriage.

The actor had a little "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" reunion backstage.
