Aside from the story mode gameplay, NetherRealm also shared other game modes for "Mortal Kombat X"

According to Gamerant, NetherRealm Studios explained the new details on the Tower, Kustom Kombat and Test Your Might game modes "MKX".

Kustom Kombat Mode allows players to fight their friends online with a number of modifiers (buffs and debuffs) active for added challenge.

Tower Mode is simply a progression-focused mode that lets players play unique challenges that extend beyond the basic 1 on 1 fighting that they are used to. There are some instances that this challenges are not fights at all, and it still retains its core "New Challenger" set-up in its basic version with a few difficulty levels.

Players will face off with new enemies as they ascend to the tower, with those fighters getting stronger and more difficult to defeat as they go.

Lastly, Test Your Might mode lets players participate in a quick time-focused series of events in which they try to break stronger boards. Timing appears to be key in this mode, as players must keep within specific boundaries to build enough strength to break the board.

"Mortal Kombat X" will be available on April 14 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, while the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will launch in summer 2015 .
