Spoilers for "Scandal" season 4, episode 8, set to air on April 2, teased that fans of the show are up for some series-defining moments and twists that have made the series popular since its premiere back in 2012.
According to the sneak preview from ABC's official website, a congressman will ask Olivia (Kerry Washington) for help in lifting his father's death sentence. The preview also reveals that Jake (Scott Foley) has been putting Olivia under surveillance. Jake's behavior may be explained by the jealousy he feels over Olivia, who had slept with an unknown man she had at a bar back in the previous episode.
"Scandal" season 4, episode 8 , called "Honor Thy Father," will see fan-favorite Jake terrorizing Quinn (Katie Lowes) and Huck (Guillermo Diaz). Spoilers revealed that he will threaten the duo, stating, "If someone comes after me, I'll kill them. And, then, I'll kill Liv."
Another plot point that the episode tackles is David's (Joshua Malina) efforts to bring down B613 by recruiting former agents of the secretive agency to help with his cause. Charlie (George Newbern) comes up with a solution to save Quinn by killing Jake. However, killing Jake would expose B613's cover, which would also spell some dire consequences for Charlie.
"Scandal" season 4, episode 8 also marks the first appearance of former "True Blood" star Lauren Bowles as Harmony, the sister of Mellie (Bellamy Young) who is planning to run for the presidency at the end of Fitz's term.
As reported by Digital Spy, Bowles has worked with "Scandal" creator Rhonda Rhimes in "Grey's Anatomy" and its spinoff "Private Practice." The 42-year-old, actress, however is most recognizable for her role as Holly Clearly in HBO's "True Blood" where she appeared in 48 episodes.
