Prince Harry might not meet Prince William and Duchess Kate's second child as he is set to start his service with the Australian army.People Magazine reported that the 30-year-old prince will be off on a secondment to the Australian military around the time that the royal baby is due.

Starting April 6, Prince Harry will spend four weeks with the Australian military before he ends his career in the service. After that, he will reportedly head to Turkey to join his father, Prince Charles, to take part in the Gallipoli commemorations with New Zealand and Australian veterans, which is scheduled for April 25. He might also head to the UK for a royal duty. It is not confirmed yet whether he will see the royal baby.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Prince Harry will have a public engagement during a month-long military secondment in Australia. The site added that Britain's prince will need to have his credentials checked before he could travel.

A Kensington Palace spokesman reportedly said that Prince Harry will not make any public speeches during his visit because it is not an official royal business. The spokesman also purportedly added that Prince Harry believes that he will learn new experiences from this trip.

"He knows he will learn a huge amount from his Australian colleagues during this detachment and is grateful to the ADF for putting together such a varied and interesting program for him, I'm sure it will provide some very memorable experiences," the spokesman said.

Prince Harry is currently working with the British Ministry of Defence's Personnel Recovery Unit, which ensures that those who are sick or have endured suffering during their service have been given the support necessary for recovery.
