Newest "Mistresses" season 3 spoilers teased that a new character would be joining the series. Brian White, from "Scandal" and "Beauty and the Beast," is being cast by the addictive summer sudser to court April, Rochelle Aytes' single mom.
"Mistresses" season 3 spoilers from TV Line revealed that Brian White will be playing Blair, the school's headmaster where Lucy, April's daughter, is attending.
"Embodies authority and strength and works the hell out of a suit." This is how Blair is best described.
April will find herself attracted to Blair's "reassuring and stable" personality - and "how well-liked and well-connected he is as headmaster. Most of all she feels safe and protected when she's around him. His mere presence commands respect, making him the ideal partner at a time when her daughter needs some serious structure in her life after her last boyfriend apparently turned to be a secret FBI agent investigating secretly on her "back-from-the-dead" husband (who died at the "Mistresses" season 2 finale)
Brian White currently plays Olivia Pope's love interest in ABC's Scandal. He also previously appeared in "The Shield" and "Men of a Certain Age."
"Mistresses" season 3 spoilers revealed that the casting of Brian White is just one of the numerous changes that fans could expect in the forthcoming season. The website also reported that Jennifer Esposito's character Calista Rianes will be introduced as a series regular. Calista was said to be an "uber-fabulous and larger-than-life woman with a wicked sense of humor and style." Jennifer Esposito landed the role following the exit of Savi (Alyssa Milano), the character real big sister.
Alyssa Milano exited the show when the production decided to move from LA to Vancouver. The character of Espositio will anchor the action together with Yunjin Kim, Macallan and Aytes.
