It looks like new updates for the GoPro Hero 5 have been revealed, regarding its new release date and possible price range.
According to Day Herald GoPro Inc. will launch the GoPro Hero 5 camera on September 2015. Value Walk previously reported that the company has delayed the GoPro Hero 5 launch date due to its the new improvements, and the website adds that the delay was a good thing for them to test out these new features.
As for the new price details, the Ecumenical News reports that the GoPro Hero 5 will cost around $400 to $500; however, the Fuse Joplin reportedly claimed that the GoPro Hero 5 will be around $450 to $550 when it's out of the market.
China Topix has reported that the GoPro Hero 5 will likely have a dual lens setup with features like 3D capability, 60 meter range and a battery capacity of 2,800 mAh.
The GoPro Hero 5 can record a minimum of 4K to 8K resolution which is 60 frames per second, a Bluetooth 4.0 for faster upload speed and A10 chip processsor.
Several users complained about the the GoPro Hero 4 silver version having 15 frames per-second, while the black version records around 30 frames per-second, The Latino Post reports.
The Fuse Joplin has reported that the GoPro Hero 5 is waterproof and it can survive down to 60 meters underwater, trumping the GoPro Hero 4.
Venture Capital Post hinted that the GoPro Hero 5 will likely meet the same success or surpass its predecessor when its out on the market.
"With the HD cam GoPro Hero 4 being released only about six months ago, people are already waiting for its successor. Considered a commercial success, other manufacturers (like Xiaomi and Polaroid) are entering this side of the market," Venture Capital wrote. "So hopes are high that the fifth incarnation will provide a new level of standard and experience to withstand any incoming new competitors."
