It looks like new details for the new iPhone 7 have been revealed, regarding its possible release date and Apple's decision to skip two of its iPhone 6 variants this year.

It was previously reported by Value Walk that Apple will delay the launch of the rumored iPhone 7 to 2016 due to the many implications of its development. Ecumenical News reportedly claimed that Apple might changed its LCD screen to OLED, which is a big change for them as the company has been using LCD technology from their past iPhone devices.

However, The Fuse Joplin has reported that Apple will indeed launch the iPhone 7 this year in the month of September,

"It is expected to arrive around September 2015. Both the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus were revealed on 9th of September in 2014, whereas the iPhone 5c and the 5s were unveiled in September of the previous year, with the iPhone 5 being unveiled in the same month. This spells out a pattern, so it is most likely that it will come in September of this year," The Fuse Joplin wrote.

It this were true, then Apple users are expecting to see the iPhone 7 on Sept. 7 or 9, the Latino Post reports.

But the release date also bears bad news as rumors are making rounds that Apple will not unveil the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus this year.

According to Value Walk, KG1 Securities representative Ming-Chi Kuo has sent out a note to investors that Apple may not unveil the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus or the 4-inch iPhone 6C, but to move on to the iPhone 7 citing a major new feature to be seen in the device.

The website further adds that the new feature in the iPhone 7 is the Force Touch sensor which was seen in the Apple Watch.

"We believe that iPhone's Force Touch sensor doesn't directly detect the pressure applied by fingers," Kuo wrote. "Instead, it monitors the contact area on which the finger touches the screen to decide how big the pressure is."

Kou further wrote that there are two structural designs for Force Touch sensor in the iPhone 7.

"The Force Touch sensor can either be placed between the cover lens and the In-cell touch panel or under the In-cell touch panel's backlight. In the first position, the technological challenge lies with how to produce the transparent Force Touch sensor," Kou wrote.

"In the second position, the challenge is how to reduce signal interference from in-cell touch panel. Our understanding of the technology is that producing a transparent Force Touch sensor is more difficult, so the chances are the new iPhone this year will opt for the second position."

International Business Times cited that the iPhone 7 will the feature sapphire crystal glass, a liquid metal chassis, A9 processor chip, 2GB RAM, and a DSLR quality camera.
