"Switched At Birth" season 5 spoilers revealed that there will be a controversial twist that fans should look out for in the forthcoming episodes.

Spoilers from Movie News Guide reported that the first half "Switched at Birth" season 4 ended on a sour note with Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Emmett (Sean Berdy) breaking up. Although there was a new development in Daphne (Katie Leclerc) and Mingo's (Adam Hagenbuch) relationship, this event had left the show's viewers severely heartbroken. Thankfully, it seems like fans of the ABC series have not seen the last of Mingo and Daphne.

Lizzy Weizz, the creator of the TV series, has stated that there is a controversial twist awaiting the show's fans during the season's second half.

On her official Twitter page, Weizz confirmed that Mingo would be featured more in upcoming episodes of "Switched at Birth" season 5. She had also revealed the titles of the first two episodes of the second half of the show's fourth season, entitled "To Repel Ghosts" and "How Does a Girl Like You Become a Girl Like You?" respectively.

Meanwhile, Constance Marie, who plays Regina Vasquez on the show, posted a photo of a table read she conducted with the rest of the "Switched at Birth" cast. The caption of the photo read "We are back!" The official Twitter account of the show replied to a tweet by a fan of the show as well.

The fan asked when they would begin filming for the second half of the season and it was reveled that filming had started on April 8, Wednesday. Those involved in the show have also posted various pictures of the show's cast on social media.

"Switched At Birth" is expected to return with the second half of its fourth season sometime in the summer.
