After Jessica Lange announced that she might not be returning to the show, the "American Horror Story" season 5 will at least retain the services of Kathy Bates as the spoilers reveal that the The Eagles' hit song, "Hotel California" will set the theme for Ryan Murphy's show.
Ryan Murphy confirmed the report on his Twitter where he wrote, "Kathy Bates is running the Hotel. #AHSSeason5."
"American Horror Story 5" already got a major star boost when Lady Gaga was announced to be joining the series.
Jessica Lange in an earlier interview with Entertainment Weekly hinted that she might not return for the fifth season of "American Horror Story."
"It's like doing a stage play between the rehearsal and the run. This is a 6-month commitment every year. That will be four years in a row," she said. "I want to have more time to myself I guess."
Meanwhile, Movie Pilot claimed in its "American Horror Story 5" spoilers that there are a lot of theories for the setting of "American Horror Story" 5, including the Cecil Hotel, Garden of Allah Hotel and the Murder Palace by H.H. Holmes.
"The subject of debate ever since its release in 1977, but one of the most recognizable songs of the last century, 'Hotel California' by The Eagles was labeled by Christian evangelists as the story of the Church of Satan's first real estate purchase - that of a hotel based in San Francisco, which they later turned into their first church," it said.
"Given Ryan Murphy's fascination with the occult and satanic rituals (see: Coven and Asylum), a 'Hotel California'/ Church of Satan hotel would have some serious potential for blood, gore and mystery!" Movie Pilot added.
Watch out for more "American Horror Story 5" spoilers when they become available. The Ryan Murphy series is set to air in October 2015.
