The "No Man's Sky" release date has been purportedly set to August 2015 as Microsoft clarifies all Xbox One release rumors.
According to the report by Cyberland, the "No Man's Sky" release date is allegedly set on August 2015 while the PC version would be available on 2016.
"My contact over at Hello Games told me that they are planning to release the game on August for the PS4, just after E3. Expect new gameplay videos and a lot more stuff that's going to be announced at GDC. PC release is going to be on 2016" as was noted on the report.
Previously, Design and Trend noted that Play Magazine reported that the "No Man's Sky" release date window is going to be on Q3 2015.
"This news comes to Design & Trend via a short feature in Australia's Play Magazine. Devinup from the 'No Man's Sky' Reddit community provided the scan," wrote Design and Trend.
Design and Trend then stated, "Of utmost controversy is possible clarity on the title's release date. As seen at the very top of the scan, 'No Man's Sky' is advertised for a Q3 2015 release date window."
Meanwhile, Microsoft has clarified that the "No Man's Sky" release date is for the PS4 and PC only as they reaffirm that the game will not be released for the Xbox One.
According to Design and Trend, Microsoft admitted that they do not regret having "No Man's Sky" for the platform.
"With regard to Hello Games' 'No Man's Sky,' Simonetta spoke very candidly about the highly anticipated PS4 exclusive. When asked if his team 'regrets missing out' on the hot indie experience, the official replied 'Personally, no. We have some exclusives that other platforms don't. We have a very strong lineup.'" wrote Design and Trend.
Design and Trend then stated, "To back up his claims, Simonetta reminded the interviewer that ID@Xbox is privy to more than 1,000 developers with over 100 games in development. Over that time, Microsoft has been able to secure some indie Xbox One exclusives of its own. Most notably, popular titles like '#IDARB' and 'Ori And The Blind Forest' are completely Xbox console exclusive for the time being. Both titles are receiving favorable reviews from critics and gamers alike."
