The latest episode of Spike TV's "Lip Sync Battle" features Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway. Interestingly, episode 9 of the "Lip Sync Battle" show is produced by Blunt's husband, "The Office" alum John Krasinski.
According to Entertain This, there is one clear winner between Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway. In the episode 9 of Spike TV's "Lip Sync Battle," Blunt and her stellar dance moves dazzled the crowd and especially Chrissy Teigen. The "Into the Woods" and "Looper" actress performed her rendition of Backstreet Boys' "No Diggity," which ended up beating Anne Hathaway's version of Mary J. Blige's "Love" by a long shot.
Videos of the pair's performances have been circulating on entertainment websites such as Us Weekly.
The videos show highlights of Blunt and Hathaway's performances such as Blunt giving Hathaway a lap dance during her performance of "No Diggity." In spite of the praise Blunt received for her performance, Hathaway, Blunt's "The Devil Wears Prada" co-star, refused to back down.
Another highlight of the episode was Hathaway performing Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" with a set resembling the one in Cyrus's music video to the amusement of fans. Blunt also lip-synced to Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart."
Prior to their performances on the show, the pair conducted interviews. Blunt told the media during her rehearsals that she's been super method about it, she has been screaming at everybody pretty much all day because she doesn't want a voice.
She also guarantees Anne Hathaway will be in full voice during rehearsals and in her performance. During rehearsals, Blunt was also shown repeating Benedict Cumberbatch's name in her dressing room as a form of vocal exercise.
