According to "Teen Wolf" season 5 spoilers from MTV, Beacon Hills is set to face a brand new terror in the form of a group known as "The Doctors."

Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), Lydia Martin (Holland Roden), and the rest of their team will square off against doctors who use not only scalpels, cotton balls, and tongue depressors; but also, needles and power drills in order to inflict pain on their victims in their very own torture chambers.

A 20-second promotional video for "Teen Wolf's" fifth season was also released. In the video, Dr. Deaton (Seth Gilliams) can be heard saying, "The rules have changed." The video also shows Lydia panicking over something that is not shown in the video.

According to "Teen Wolf" series' creator Jeff Davis, the connection between science and the supernatural will be featured heavily in the show's fifth season. The various characters' transitions from their high school days to adulthood will also be prominently featured in the forthcoming season.

"There's this strange thing: For some reason when you graduate high school, you leave all your best friends -- why do you do that?" Davis said.

"There's a moment in the first episode where Stiles asks that question aloud. He says, 'If we've met the best people in our lives, why aren't we trying to stay with them? Why do we try and go our separate ways?'"
