It looks like American football fans finally have a reason to rejoice as ace footballer Johnny Manziel is out of his term at the rehab centre and looks forward to getting back to the grind.
According to reports on NYPost.com, Johnny Manziel, who was released from rehab a few days ago, looked absolutely hearty as he was seen enjoying the recent Texas Rangers game. This is reportedly the footballer's first appearance after he hit headlines for all wrong reasons and was sent to rehab for recovery. The news piece also indicates that Johnny Manziel's addiction problems did not go unnoticed by his teammates but they chose to ignore it, thus leading to dire consequences where the star player was sent to the rehabilitation centre.
Browns teammate Joe Thomas also reportedly went on to add that the quarterback had been facing problems in his personal life as well, and these were hindering him from being committed to the game as required. Thomas had said in an interview with ESPN.com that the player lacked the focus and determination that was expected from the quarterback. The constant troubles in Manziel's life are also being linked to his dismal performance in the last few games.
Meanwhile, it is clear that the footballer will have to work hard to get back in shape to earn the trust of his teammates. Safety Donte Whitner commended the guts of Manziel saying that he had faced a lot at a young age and, indeed, deserved appreciation for the courageous steps that he took to rectify the problem.
According to NFL.com, although the player's first public appearance after rehab was several miles away from his team, the media did not hesitate to ask questions about him when they came on stage. Some of his teammates also pointed out that the ace footballer would have been in a better position had he opted for help at an earlier stage. For now, everybody looks forward to his comeback as Johnny is expected to join his team for the off-season workouts that will start soon.
