Harrison Ford missed the fan event, where the second clip teasing spoilers for "Star Wars Episode 7" was revealed, at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
But the 72-year-old, who reprises his role as Han Solo in the movie, has a pretty good reason.
"Star Wars Episode 7" director JJ Abrams delivered the news, "He's not here today but he's in everyone's thought, Harrison Ford, he's a total bad a**."
"He is the only person who can make an emergency landing on a golf course in front of two doctors... he is at home resting. By the time the movie opens he will be very actively involved," the director said per Daily Mail.
In the Q&A portion, Daisy Ridley said of her character, "She is a scavenger and very solitary until she meets another character and that's when the adventure begins."
Oscar Isaac also described his character, "He's been sent on a mission by a certain princess and he meets John Boyega's character and their fates are forever intertwined."
Meanwhile, producer Kathleen Kennedy shared the news that Han Solo would survive "Star Wars Episode 7" as she said that the actor would be back next year.
If Han Solo would be killed off, Harrison Ford will certainly welcome it as he reportedly approached George Lucas before and told him that the death of his character would be logical to rally the cause forward.
In other "Star Wars 7" spoilers, Cinema Blend took note of the change in the name of the Empire in the new movie, which is now being called The First Order while the Rebel Alliance is now called The Resistance.
"The First Order sounds very classic sci-fi pulp, as well as being all kinds of sinister," it said. "It calls to mind some kind of militant extremist group hiding in the wilderness, waiting to strike, which, from the sound of it, is essentially what they are."
Watch out for more "Star Wars Episode 7" spoilers which will be published when they come along, ahead of the airing date in December this year.
