Anne Hathaway looked like a teenager from the past as she stepped out in New York on Friday with husband Andrew Shulman with matching Aviator sunglasses.
"The 32-year-old actress channelled the 1950s in a long pleated pink skirt with a white button-up blouse during a romantic stroll with her husband Adam Shulman," noted Daily Mail.
The "Intersteller" actress also had a leather bomber jacket, but she was carrying it around instead of wearing it.
Anne Hathaway can be seen in "Grounded" at the Public Theater on April 26 as she plays a female fighter pilot who was reassigned to fly drones instead after she got pregnant.
Talking about the play, she said, "I realized I had absolutely no idea what life was like for a female soldier. I hadn't seen movies about it, I hadn't really read articles about it, I didn't have any references, and I thought that's not O.K."
"So I started looking for stories about female soldiers to tell. One day, I was having my coffee, and I read a review in The New York Times of this play, 'Grounded,' and I read the synopsis, and I just thought, Oh my God, this is it," the actress added.
Anne Hathaway and husband Andrew Shulman tied the knot in September 2012 in Big Sur, California after about a year of engagement.
The actress received raved reviews for playing Eponine in Les Miserables. Her efforts eventually won for her an Oscar, but not without cost.
Speaking to Chelsea Handler, Anne Hathaway said that she was a "witch" to husband Andrew Shulman.
"I mean, I was dealing with a lot of darkness and I was starving. So I just wasn't that much fun to be around," she said.
"There was one day when, I kid you not, I picked a fight with him because he wouldn't watch a sunset with me."
