Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards have such a bond that it won't be broken by cheating rumors alone, according to "X Factor" judge Sinitta in an interview.

"I don't think any cute girl can replace the closeness they have," she told Heat World per Daily Mail, adding that their closeness is based on the same experience of being discovered in a talent show and later becoming huge celebrities.

"That creates a bond that I don't think an affair could break," she said.

The "X Factor" judge and friend of Simon Cowell has always thought that Harry Styles was the first to leave One Direction because "he has that Mick Jagger swagger."

So when Zayn Malik quit One Direction, purportedly to focus on his relationship with Perrie Edwards, it caught Sinitta by surprise even if she already spotted some troubles with the band early on.

Funny thing is, Zayn, he was always the most reluctant," she said. "Even in the early days when we wanted them to dance and there was choreography... he was always the shy one at the back.

Zayn Malik was rumored to be cheating on Perrie Edwards with a blonde girl while One Direction as performing in Thailand.

After initially denying on Twitter that he cheated on Perrie Edwards, Zayn Malik later announced that he's quitting One Direction over stress.

Sinitta hinted that the cheating reports could be a factor in Zayn Malik leaving One Direction.

"Zayn was always the romantic, spiritual one, he always took his relationships very seriously, he was always very gentle," she said.

"I think the relationship is important to him, he and Perrie, that's a very prominent relationship for him and for that to be threatened in any way - especially when you're travelling around the world and all the stress and drama of that - you need an anchor, some stability somewhere so I think that would have rocked him a lot."
