The official release date of "Teen Wolf" season 5 has finally been revealed. According to reports and spoilers, the MTV series will return on June 29 with a two-part premiere.

"Teen Wolf" season 5 spoilers from Inquistr teased that fans will finally get to see what will happen to the cast after the thrilling season 4 finale.

Early this month, MTV has dropped the teaser of the series which focused on the major villains, known as the Doctors. "Teen Wolf" creator Jeff Davis said that the Doctors were "part human."

Another villain that fans of "Teen Wolf" should also look out for is the "Sluagh" played by Michael Lynch, a 16-year-old who became part of the show through the "Make-a-Wish" Foundation. According to Christian Today, the "Sluagh is a creature based on an Irish folklore that devours the soul of innocents.

Speaking to Hollywood Life, Tyler Posey (Scott McCall) also teased that fans can expect to be "spooked" on the forthcoming episodes in season 5.

"The new villains are really, really, really cool. Really creepy, really creepy. It's something we've never done before, which is like impossible, because we've done everything," he shared.

Posey also revealed that the forthcoming episodes will feature the struggle that some seniors are facing.

One of the main themes in season 5 is the decision that the cast members have to face is whether they should continue to fight the supernatural forces or stay in school.

"The characters don't know whether to focus on surviving and saving people, or to focus on getting into school at the same time because if they put too much focus on one thing, school's not gonna happen or someone's gonna die. What's more important, dying or school?" said Tyler Posey, via Hollywood Life.
