As part of its 15th anniversary, fans of the popular anime series "Digimon Adventure," was able to watch the first 54 episodes since it was released last May 4. Exciting information was said to be announced regarding the official release date of the "Digimon Adventure Tri" series.
According to "Digimon Adventure Tri" spoilers from Breathecast, there is not much information on the release of the highly anticipated series. However, it is believed that the series will be launched much sooner than expected.
An English version of the "Digimon Adventure Tri" website has also been released for fans outside of Japan. You can check it out here. Before fans get their hopes up, there is not much information on the website only the phrase "Digimon is coming back!" as well as an English version of the trailer.
As previously reported, "Digimon Adventure Tri" shows what happened to the cast six years after the original "Digimon Adventure" ended. It was said that the episodes will focus on the eight main characters, with the original Japanese voice cast members returning as well.
According to Franchise Herald, the return of "Digimon Adventure Tri" has created quite a buzz among fans and created a discussion among Reddit users. Some were said to be wondering if Sora and Taichi will end up together, or will it be Sora and Yamato.
"The only thing I want to be changed (or at least explored) in Tri, is the epilogue of 02. I primarily want to see Sora and Tai together. At the very least, I'd hope to get an arc ending in 'they tried to be together, and it didn't work out, but they made amends'," Syncopia on Twitter, via Franchise Herald.
It was also mentioned that another user pointed out that the relationship between Tai and Sora was only explored in the US version of "Digimon Adventure."
