Kiefer Sutherland is still uncertain whether to reprise his role as Jack Bauer on "24: Live Another Day," but the actor is making use of his time off by having fun.
Radar Online published photos of Kiefer Sutherland reportedly "looking very unsteady on his feet" after leaving Smoke House in Toulca Lake, California on May 14.
An eyewitness told the tabloid, "He got there about 6:45 pm and left at 8. He was sitting at the bar during the Clippers game but he was talking to people. He even sat down at a table with strangers and was talking to them."
"Kiefer was really enjoying himself. He looked like he was having a good time," a patron said.
Although he was accompanied by a group of friends, he reportedly mingled and was very friendly with the rest of the customers.
"He was really animated and talking to everybody. He would go outside for a smoke and then come back in and talk to different people. He was in very good spirts. He even took a picture with a fan."
The "24" star was accompanied by an unidentified female and into his ride. Kiefer Sutherland's battle with alcohol is pretty documented and he was arrested four times for DUI.
Kiefer Sutherland's turn as Jack Bauer might even end as Fox boss Dana Walden revealed during the Winter TCA Press Tour that they were pitched a story by showrunners Evan Katz, Howard Gordon and Manny Coto of a story arc that might not include its star, said E! News.
"[Their pitch] was in the very origin stages and it could have gone either way. There was a point at which Jack Bauer could come in and fit very organically into their story or they were prepared to do something that would be the one installment without him," she said.
Dana Walden added that they haven't yet talked to Kiefer Sutherland about doing another "24: Live Another Day" season.
