Microsoft has officially announced that the Office for Android Phone Preview is now available.
In the official blog of Office, Jared Spataro, the general manager for the Office 365 marketing team, said that preview for Excel, PowerPoint and Word for Android phones is now available andthe user need to join first the Microsoft Office for Android community to participate in the program.
Spataro added that the Microsoft Office Preview app for Android phone is "modern" and designed for work on the go.
He explained, "The Office apps combine the familiar look, feel and quality of Office with a touch-friendly experience designed for Android phones. Documents open and render beautifully, with all formatting and content in the right place. In addition, familiar navigation and menu options in the ribbon are placed at the bottom of the screen within reach of your thumbs so you can easily review and edit documents on your phone."
In addition, using the app will allow users to access their documents easily. They can create, open, edit and save files in the cloud from their Android phones that allows them to access it anytime and anywhere.
Furthermore, with the app, users can quickly share ideas, presentation with others using their smartphone.
Also, Spataro said that bringing the preview to the Android users will allow them to gather feedback on how to improve more the experience of the users.
Meanwhile, according to Google, the Microsoft Office Preview apps for Android phone is best on the device that has 1GB + RAM and runs o Android 4.4x operating system or later versions.
