Selena Gomez might be having her own reality show soon. DJ Zedd's rumored girlfriend was reportedly working with Kris Jenner, asking for some tips on how to produce a successful reality series.

According to OK! Magazine, Selena Gomez and Kris Jenner are working on starting a new reality show together. The "I Want You To Know" singer allegedly wanted to give her career a boost and wanted to go back to television.

"Selena thinks a reality show could boost her career," the source said.

The insiders close to the star said that Selena Gomez is tired of always being linked to ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and wanted to forge her own path.

"She's "tired of being seen as Justin Bieber's lovesick ex."

When Kris Jenner heard of Selena's plan, the momager was immediately on board. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star even joked that their reality show could take a hit once Selena put up her own.

"She's serious when she tells Selena that her show will cause the Kardashians' own ratings to dip," the report claimed.

As reported by Latino Post, Selena Gomez' acting career has taken a back seat this year. Since her public breakup with Justin Bieber, the former Disney star has decided to focus more on her music career. This 2015, it was said that she wanted to have a more mature image, something "darker" that fans do not expect.

The website further pointed out that Selena Gomez made the right decision of coming to Kris Jenner for help given how "Keeping Up With the Kardashian" became such a huge hit and garnered quite a following.

According to Hollywood Life, Kris was also helping the Disney alum because she wanted to repair the friendship between Selena and Kylie.

"Kylie missed her and that she would love to see them talk again. It's massive baby steps, but they have been testing it out to become friends again and have talked and obviously hung out. It's a work in progress between them. They won't be hanging out together alone yet, but in a group, it seems to have worked out positively," the website alleged.
