'Dance Moms' Star Maddie Ziegler Moves Into Million Dollar Mansion; Talks About Acting Career After 'Elastic Heart'

"Dance Moms” star Maddie Ziegler is moving into a new million dollar mansion. The reality star reportedly made tons of money from the Lifetime series and Sia music videos that her family is moving from their modest home in Pittsburgh to a 7,000 square feet mansion.

According to TMZ, Maddie Ziegler has sold her 2,500 square feet old house for $279,000. The "Dance Moms" star traded it in for a new mansion with her very own dance studio, pool and a closet just for her shoes.

Momager Melissa Ziegler said that the family simply "outgrew their old home" and decided that it was time to move.

Maddie Ziegler appeared in three Sia music videos "Chandelier," "Elastic Heart," and "Big Girls Cry," making her one of the biggest names in the Lifetime reality series. Because of her fame, the 12-year-old said that her seemingly normal life has definitely changed.

Speaking to Nylon magazine, Maddie revealed that she and her co-stars don't think of themselves as huge celebrities but being on the reality series had definitely changed their lives, one way or another.

"We just want to live normal lives, but that's hard to do sometimes," she shared. "We act like normal kids, but sometimes it's hard for us if we go out for ice cream, or go shopping at the mall, because a big group of people will stop us and ask for photos."

Maddie Ziegler revealed that the producers did not have much faith on "Dance Moms" when it first premiered.

"We didn't even know if they would pick that up," she said.

The 12-year-old may have found success in dancing, but she revealed that she wants to take on a different path someday.

"I want to be an actress, so I've been auditioning lately," she revealed. "I can't watch scary movies, but I'd love to act in one of them. I want to audition for roles that are super creepy and eerie."
