Former One Direction member Zayn Malik and Little Mix star Perrie Edwards have been engaged since August 2013, but wedding bells are not looming soon.

In a report from E! News, Perrie Edwards claimed that her schedule is so full that she might not be able to find time to plan a wedding.

"I don't know when the wedding will be. We're still planning it but I'm so busy...Me and Zayn want it to be perfect, so as soon as I have a bit of time we'll plan it. I doubt it will be this summer-but I'll let you know!" she said.

Zayn Malik just quit One Direction, allegedly over stress, just days after reports of the 22-year-old cheating on Perrie Edwards during the band's show in Thailand.

But Louis Tomlimson admitted that Perrie Edwards was one of the main reasons why Zayn Malik quit One Direction. "He [Malik] wanted to spend time with his family and his missus.That's cool with us." he confessed.

Perrie Edwards appreciated the fact that she can spend more time with Zayn Malik, who's reportedly working on his solo carer.

"It's nice to see more of him now," she told The Sun. "We spend a lot of time in the kitchen, he's a great chef."

In December last year, The Daily Mirror, claimed that Zayn Malik and fiancee Perrie Edwards had to push back their wedding because of conflict of schedules.

"There's been all this talk of a wedding, Perrie wanted a big Disney-themed day but the reality is they've had to put it back. There isn't the time to plan a day that will be perfect for the two of them," the source said.

"They're both so busy, they have decided they will have to have a long engagement. Who knows when the wedding will be now, but there are no plans at the moment," the insider added.
