Miley Cyrus and ex Patrick Schwarzenegger found out that they attended the same Hollywood party at the Blind Dragon and decided to do the most logical thing-avoiding each other.

According to Us Weekly, the awkward encounter occurred on May 29 during the party celebrating the birthday of Markus Molinary, owner of Bootsy Bellows.

"Patrick and Miley didn't interact. He didn't say a word to her," the insider claimed.

Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger split in April after dating for five months. The reason for the split was when Maria Shriver's son was caught getting cozy with two girls, including his ex, during the spring break in March.

"Even though Patrick swore that the woman was just a close friend, this eventually lead the two to break up, said Celebrity Dirty Laundry.

"Miley even fired shots back at Schwarzenegger by posting a photo on her Instagram at the time of herself with a producer who she used to be romantic with. There was just entirely too much drama going on in the relationship for it to remain healthy, CDL added.

In another report from Us Weekly, an insider claimed that Miley Cyrus really thought that Patrick Schwarzenegger is different from other guys which is why the split was very painful.

"At first, she was into him because she thought he was a nice guy," the source said.

But after Schwarzenegger was caught doing body shots off another girl, their relationship took a turn. "She doesn't put up with crap from guys," a third source previously told Us.

Meanwhile, Patrick Schwarzenegger is reportedly determined to win her back after they split over his alleged cheating ways.

A source alleged, "If he could have her back, he would in a heartbeat. He's been reaching out to her, even sending her texts of cute animal videos, but she's not biting the bait. She's not responding in the way he would like her to."
