"That Winter, The Wind Blows" is beginning to look like the works "Scandal" and "Dangerous Relationship."
In the SBS drama, "That Winter, The Wind Blows", Oh Young (Song Hye Kyo) is a character who Oh Soo (Jo In Sung) must take advantage of. This is because if he doesn't come up with $7.8 million in time, Jo Moo Cheol (Kim Tae Woo) will kill him. This is the reason Oh Soo approached her in the first place, not love.
However, Oh Soo begins to fall in love with the person that he needs to steal money from. Oh Soo could have gotten significantly more money than $7.8 million if he hasn't caught her trying to jump off the subway platform when the train was coming. Oh Young had changed her will to give all of her assets to her "brother" Oh Soo.
However, Oh Soo wanted to prevent Oh Young from dying. He even begs Jo Moo Cheol to ask his sister to perform surgery on Oh Young. Jo Moo Cheol kicks him while Oh Soo is on his knees but Oh Soo gets back up in tears and keeps begging. Eventually, Jo Moo Cheol says that he will help but there will be a price to pay.
Jo Moo Cheol shortens the time Oh Soo has to pay back the money he owes by 5 days. Oh Soo does not complain. Oh Soo has reached a point where he is willing to sacrifice his life for her. He feels that his life is worthless compared to hers and tries his best to save her life.
Viewers are beginning to comment that "That Winter, The Wind Blows" is beginning to resemble works like, "Scandal" and "Dangerous Relationships" where a playboy falls in love with a woman. Oh Soo falls in love with Oh Young and finally becomes a real man.
The future does not look bright for Oh Soo, which is very similar to the outcomes in "Scandal" and "Dangerous Relationships". From comparing these three works, it can be concluded that Oh Soo will not be able to have a happy ending.
