According to the Korean media outlet Money Today, there are more cameo performances in store for viewers tuning into the drama "Producer."
Since the drama focuses on the production of KBS variety shows, there are plenty of options for guest performances and celebrity contestants.
The next cameo appearances that have been announced are Park Bo Gum, Kim Ryeo Wook and K-Will. It sounds as if they will all appear on the program "Music Bank," which in this drama is run by Tak Ye Jin, played by Gong Hyo Jin.
But they could also interact with Ra Joon Mo, played by Cha Tae Hyun. He plays the producer of "1 Night, 2 Days," which features celebrity contestants.
Park Bo Gum is set to play the emcee of the program "Music Bank." The rising star was recently seen in the dramas "Cantabile Tomorrow" and "Wonderful Days." He also appears in the films "The Admiral: Roaring Currents" and "Coil Locker Girl." And he has been cast in the upcoming drama "Reply 1998."
Also scheduled to provide drama cameos are Super Junior's Kim Ryeo Wook, who will play a radio disc jockey, and ballad singer-songwriter K-Will, who will play himself.
So far the drama has had dozens of cameos from k-pop and k-drama stars. Those appearances are part of what makes the drama so much fun to watch.
One of the most memorable was Lee Seung Gi, playing himself and making fun of his sweet squeaky-clean image. Go Ara did a comic turn playing Cindy's equally isolated rival. Jang Hyuk and Lee Chun Hee played Tak Ye Jin's ex-boyfriends testifying to the fact no matter how much they liked her, she could only think about Ra Joon Mo.
And the best K-pop cameo may belong to Park Jin Young, who also had fun making fun of his own image. Other k-pop cameos included appearances by TTS, 2NE1's Sandara Park, Boyfriend's Minwoo, 2PM's Nickhun, 2AM's Jo Kwon, former Wonder Girls member Sunmi and Hani of EXID.
Current and former members of the real variety show "1 Night 2 Days" also appeared as guests on the drama.
Who will be next to cameo on this drama? As the show has only concluded its eighth episode, there may be more cameos to come?
