On June 17, Ilgan Sports published an article which announced that the final episodes of "Producer" were being filmed on a delayed schedule, preventing the release of spoilers. According to the report, episode 11 had not been taped by June 17.

A representative for the KBS drama provided further details. "The script for the ending scenario has not come out, yet," said a member of the production team. "[We] are currently finishing with shooting episode 11."

"Producer" continues to generate buzz, as the 12-episode series draws to an end. In episode 10, Baek Seung Chan (Kim Soo Hyun) shocked Tak Ye Jin (Gong Hyo Jin), when he kissed her to confess his feelings.

Some audiences harbored hope for a relationship between Seung Chan and Cindy (IU), was their potential appeared to be completely squashed by the ninth episode. Viewers are also curious about the development of the 25-year friendship of Ye Jin and Ra Joon Mo (Cha Tae Hyun), further complicating the love lines from a triangle to a square.

A report published by OSEN examined the potential for the drama to yield awards, due to the strong acting demonstrated by its talented cast. OSEN also noted that the series will conclude with a shorter span of episodes than what is normally expected from Korean dramas.

The series premiered with a unique shooting style, reminiscent of docu-dramas such as "The Office" or "Parks and Recreation." However, "Producer" began to adapt to a more traditional K-Drama format. Ratings for the drama continue to climb with the series recording an all-time high of 14.6 percent, in its last broadcast.

The drama has continuously kept fans at the edge of their seats, due to its ambiguous love lines. "Producer" concludes its 12-epiode run on June 20.
