Josh Duggar's sisters, Jill and Jessa have already said their piece about the molestation scandal that their brother was involved in.
According to Fox News' previous report earlier this month, Jill and Jessa spoke up about the controversy in their exclusive interview with the Megyn Kelly which will air Friday on "The Kelly File." Now married, the sisters reportedly defended their brother and expressed how they were "horrified by the way their story has been told and re-told online and in the media."
"We're victims. They can't do this to us," Jill reportedly commented on the media attention surrounding the Josh Duggar scandal, as quoted by Fox News. "The system that was set up to protect kids, both those who make stupid mistakes or have problems like this in their life and the ones that are affected by those choices. It's greatly failed."
Despite the sisters defending Josh Duggar amid the molestation scandal, there are speculations that the sisters may not be as over the incident as they would like the public to believe. Fishwrapper.com says that even before news about the Josh Duggar scandal broke, it may seem that Jessa and Jill were a bit distant from their eldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. For one, the sisters both didn't include Josh in their wedding entourage even though they both had huge wedding parties chronicled in "19 Kids and Counting."
The website also noted that during an episode titled "All About Jill," Josh reportedly said that Jill is the "tattle tale" of the family, telling their parents what the other kids did wrong. Looking at it in hindsight, some may think that Josh's statement could have something to do with the molestation scandal.
Meanwhile, Jill and Jessa made their first public appearance after the Josh Duggar scandal. According to Us Magazine, the two went with their husbands to Mineral City, Ohio for the ALIVE Christian music festival this weekend. And the youngest member of their trip? Jill and Derick's 2- month old baby, Israel David. Jessa and Ben are expecting their first baby as well.
