Rumors have been circulating that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are allegedly thinking about divorce.

For months now, there have been speculations that the couple is heading for Splitsville after their controversial "open marriage" purportedly didn't work out for them. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Will Smith has allegedly taken things too far and his wife purportedly felt disrespected enough to think about filing for divorce.

"Will and Jada's marriage has spiraled out of control and she's contemplating divorce," a source reportedly told Life & Style. "In May, she consulted a high-profile divorce attorney after things hit rock bottom for them. She will leave him if things continue down this path. And she is not messing around."

Despite their differences, another source close to the family claimed that the couple is purportedly doing everything to hold on to their 18-year-old marriage to avoid much bigger problems.

"Like any married couple that's married a long time, Will and Jada have their moments where things aren't always great," a source reportedly told Hollywood Life. "However, because of the kids, because of the financial aspect of what divorce does, and dividing assets, they are reluctant to go down that road."

Pushing through a divorce battle will likely put Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith in the center of public attention, possibly affecting their teenage kids Jaden, 16, and Willow, 14.

"It would be very messy, would involve lots of lawyers, the cost, and the media scrutiny with that just isn't worth it for them," the source added. "They'd rather stay together and try to sort out their problems by working on them together. It's never easy, but they will always try and fight hard for their marriage."

Amid divorce rumors, Jada Pinkett Smith talked about trusting Will Smith in an interview with SiriusXM radio host Howard Stern.

"Here's what's real: I'm not the kind of woman that believes a man is not going to be attracted to another woman," Jada Pinkett Smith said as quoted by Us Magazine. "Just because a man is attracted to another woman does not mean that he does not love you. And it doesn't mean that he's going to act on it."
