According to the July 12 report from Nielsen Korea, SBS' "The Time We Were Not in Love" recorded 7.1 percent of nationwide viewers. The fifth episode of the series did not experience a decrease or increase in ratings, reflecting the same percent that was recorded on July 5.
Having recovered from the blow suffered by her crush on her younger intern Kim Sung Jae (INFINITE's L), Oh Ha Na went on another day trip with her lifelong friend Choi Won (Lee Jin Wook) and Lee So Eun (Choo Soo Hyun). The outing reflected another unfortunate turn in their friendship, Ha Na became the third wheel, once again.
The excursion was an attempt by Won to both entertain Ha Na and deflect from the arrival of her ex-boyfriend, Cha Seo Hoo (Yoon Kyun Sang).
"The Time We Were Not in Love" marks the first major role for Yoon Kyun Sang, following his breakout character of Ki Jae Myung in "Pinocchio." His portrayal of the egotistical pianist Seo Hoo has the potential to insert major conflict into the series, especially if the character follows the arch of Ding Li Wei from the Taiwanese drama, "In Time with You."
The MBC weekend series, "Queen of Flowers" recorded 15.2 percent in viewership, rising from its previous rating of 15.2 by 0.3 percent.
Meanwhile, the KBS1 program "Jingbirok" recorded ratings of 10.9 percent.
