It's time for Yu Televentures, a subsidiary of Micromax, to unveil its third big offering as the company teased a new launch on Monday in the series of YouTube videos.

After releasing tow successful smartphones so far, it looks like Micromax's Yu is set to roll out a third one in the form of a durable device.

The teaser campaign that the company has set into motion via its social media platforms hint a new smartphone is in the making.

On Thursday, July 16 Rahul Sharma, Founder of Yu released a video showing a device being destroyed by being put in a grinder in a tweet.

"Here's the craziest thing I have ever done!" and was accompanied by the hashtag #Yuguesswhat,"Sharma captioned the video.

Though it was hard to figure out what the company wanted to convey via the clip, but Sharma on Friday shared another video in a tweet that gives an idea about what to anticipate in the Micromax's Yu new phone.

"Taking it to next level. Craziness 2.0," Sharma said.

According to records on NDTV Gadgets, the company might announce a protective layer of accessory for the Yuphoria smartphone, or there is a possibility that it may launch a rugged smartphone.

The teaser video seems to be an attempt to show that smartphones can accidentally fall. The video shows a smartphone being used very roughly and still surviving without any scratches. But that's not all, the device is dropped on the floor, rolled down a staircase before the words "You Guess What" flash on the screen.

The company has also initiated a hashtag campaign on Twitter letting fans guess the new phone's features, TechShout noted.

The smartphone itself is visible in the video, however it's not shown clear enough for fans to speculate anything in terms of its design. That said, there is enough time for consumers to get to know everything about officially as its slated to be unveiled on Monday, July 20.

Micromax's Yu debuted in the smartphone segment with its first ever phone, the Yureka which was positioned as a smartphone for the budget-conscious buyers, basically an affordable 4G phablet to compete with Xiaomi's offerings.

The company then launched the Yuphoria which had its latest flash sale take place recently.
