According to the July 19 report from Nielsen Korea, "The Time We Were Not in Love" recorded 5.4 percent of nationwide viewership, with its seventh episode. This was a decrease of 1.6 percent from ratings of 7.0, which were recorded on July 12.

The SBS romantic comedy continues to examine the life-long friendship of Oh Ha Na (Ha Jin Won) and Choi Won (Lee Jin Wook). When Ha Na encounters trouble with her job at Tandy Shoes, Won attempts to come to the rescue. As a woman who is in the '30s, Ha Na continues to face roadblocks from younger co-workers who have a stronger drive to succeed and fresh ideas.

She seeks refuge with her mother while ditching work and admits to having an off-kilter relationship with Won, which is not necessarily based on romantic feelings. While her mom appears to be disappointed, it is obvious that the other woman remains hopeful that her daughter will end up in a romantic relationship with her steadfast friend.

Won begins to withdraw from Lee So Eun (Choo Soo Hyun), a younger female employee at the airline, who has tried to form a dating relationship with him.

Based on the Taiwanese series, "In Time With You," "The Time We Were Not In Love" continues to make interesting adjustments from the original source material.

Viewership ratings also decreased for other weekend dramas. MBC's "Queen of Flowers" recorded 16.6 percent, dropping 0.5 percent in nationwide viewers.

The KBS series, "Jingbirok" also experienced a drop in ratings of 0.8 percent, recording 11.2 in national viewership.
